DKI Jakarta is again the city with the worst air quality in the world, based on data released by the air monitoring site IAQir on Saturday, July 2, 2022.
Bisnis.com, JAKARTA - Again experiencing a decline in quality, the air in DKI Jakarta again occupies the top position in the list of cities with the worst air quality in the world on Saturday (2/7/2022) afternoon.
Based on data from the IQAir air monitoring site, at exactly 13:56 WIB, DKI Jakarta's air quality was in the red zone with an air quality index of 166, which previously reached 173 in the morning. Even though it already has a lower quality index, Jakarta's air quality during the day still indicates unhealthy conditions for all groups.
As for the list, there are two other cities that are also in the red zone, namely Lima, Peru (152) and Lahore, Pakistan (152). Meanwhile, it is known that the air in Jakarta has decreased in quality and indicates unhealthy conditions since Tuesday, June 14, 2022, with the air quality index even reaching 199 in the morning.
